Departure and arrival are at the UTCC Village.
Runners start with an easy section of 3 km before climbing Mont-Olivine (670 m) who has an exceptional view on the Chic-Chocs. From there, you head towards La Serpentine, climb the Grande Cuve of Mont-Albert west to then head to the ravito La Paruline. You reach the top of Mont du Milieu (950 m), then that of Mont Ells (1000 m) to arrive at the ravito of Lac Cascapedia. The trail continues through the peaks of Mont Ernest-Ménard (850 m) and Pic-du-Brûlé (790 m) where in good weather you will have an incredible view of the St. Lawrence River. It is at this point that you turn around.
For the return, you backtrack to Lac Cascapédia, then to the SIA/Cuve junction via La Paruline to take the direction of the summit of Mont-Albert (1088 m). You cross the plateau and end your course with a 6.5 km descent leading to the UTCC Village.
