LE MARATHON DU MONT-ALBERT (43 km)
The Mont Albert Marathon is not only a marathon. It is a demanding and technical race that will exhaust you. This semi-return race will have you give the best of yourself. You will have to climb Mont Olivine and Mont Albert. You will be enchanted by the complexity of this circuit and by the beauty of these two summits.

Race starts at 7:00 am
UTCC runners’ Village, RV parking, route 14, near the discovery and service center of the Gaspésie National Park.
Semi self-sufficient trail comprising two aid stations, one of which, La Paruline hut, will supply liquids and food and a first aid team as well as first aid along the rest of the route.
Volunteers will be on site at other supply points with water and other resources.

Limit number of runners
This return route takes place on the trails of Parc national de la Gaspésie. Departure and arrivals are at the runners’ Village. After the start, the runners make the Mont Olivine loop and from there on to La Serpentine. Afterwards, they continue up to La Paruline hut. On site there will be a mandatory registration for the participants with a take of their times. The next goal is to go up Mont Albert and then finish off with a vertical 5 km descent to the runners’ Village. Technical single-track mountain trails varying between 200 and 1088 meters.
Going: Serpentine shelter (liquids) (11.3 km), Paruline hut (solids and liquids) (25 km)
Coming back: By the Mont Albert summit. Arrival at Village (45 km)
