course

Departure and arrival are at the UTCC Village.

Runners begin with the IAT long-distance hiking trail which gradually climbs on nearly 9 km to the Lac aux Américains at an altitude at 700 meters. From this point, you can see Mount Joseph-Fortin on the right and Mount Xalibu on the left. It is the latter that you have to ascent to then turn around at the top which is at 1,120 meters above sea level.

Mount Xalibu is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful ascent with its vertiginous viewpoints and its clear summit overhanging several summits of the Chic-Chocs.

This new 26 km round trip with 1,290 meters of elevation gain will blow up your mind.
