In 2027, the UTCC opens a new chapter with the Trans Chic-Chocs, a brand-new stage race experience in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula.
From Friday to Sunday, participants take on a new event each day. Three days of racing, three courses, and one challenge: make it all the way to the finish.
More than just a sum of kilometres, the Trans Chic-Chocs offer a whole new way to experience the UTCC. Here, the challenge lies not only in the effort itself, but also in the ability to recover, manage your energy, and return to the start line the next day, ready to do it all over again.
Three formats — Discovery, Adventure, and Expedition — allow participants to choose their level of commitment.
Throughout the weekend, participants keep their distinctive TCC race bib, and their times are combined to determine an official cumulative ranking. Those who complete all three stages will receive an exclusive Trans Chic-Chocs 2027 — Inaugural Edition finisher award.
On Sunday, after three days of sharing the trails, the fatigue, and the challenge of pushing beyond your limits, crossing the finish line will take on a whole new meaning.

DISCOVERY
45 KM / TTC 45
An accessible and exciting introduction to stage racing. Three days to discover the thrill of lining up at the start each day, managing your recovery, and fully experiencing the UTCC atmosphere.

For the 10 km event, an optional shuttle service is available. To use this service, please reserve and pay for your spot here.
For the 15 km event, the shuttle service is mandatory and included in the registration fee.

ADVENTURE
65 KM / TTC 65
A challenge that builds in intensity throughout the weekend. After the first two stages, you’ll still need the legs and energy to take on the 26 km final stage. A true adventure where consistency and smart effort management will make all the difference.

EXPEDITION
85 KM / TTC 85
The Trans Chic-Chocs experience at its most demanding. Three days, 86 kilometres, and a 45 km stage at the heart of the challenge. Here, running fast isn’t enough: you need to manage your energy, recover, and keep going. All the way to the final kilometre.
